Annual HOA meeting and community get-together

The HOA board is hosting a community get-together for all CCC residents from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at The Greenbelt. This free event will feature moonwalk with a slide for kids plus free pizza, cookies, and more! The annual homeowners association meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Edmond Trinity Church, 1400 NW 178th St, Edmond, OK 73012. During this meeting, HOA financials and future plans will be discussed, and residents will have a chance to ask questions. Don’t miss either event. In addition to the features noted above, there will be a chance to meet the new HOA board.

BOARD VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED

An urgent need exists for volunteers to serve on the board of the Copper Creek Crossing (CCC) Homeowners Association (HOA). Positions include: •President •Vice President •Treasurer •Secretary Volunteers are also needed to chair various board committees. All current board officers have served in their role for multiple years – some as many as 10! – even though are only supposed to serve three-year terms. This can not be rectified without new volunteers. If volunteers do not step up to replace existing board officers, those positions will soon go vacant, and critical maintenance and management tasks for the HOA will go unattended. Two CCC community garage sales planned

Copper Creek Crossing will hold two community garage sales this year. The first will be June 17-19; the second will be Sept. 9-11. Be sure to get a permit (they're cheap) at https://www.okc.gov/Home/Components/ServiceDirectory/ServiceDirectory/85/3009, and then get ready to turn your old stuff into cash!

Now that the worst of the pandemic is behind us, the CCC Homeowners Association Board is looking for volunteers to help plan and execute upcoming activities and programs. In particular, there is an urgent need for a new treasurer. There are also multiple committees in need of a chairperson. ANNUAL MEETING POSTPONED

Due to multiple unforeseen circumstances, the annual meeting of the Copper Creek Crossing Homeowners Association - originally scheduled for tomorrow on Zoom - has to be postponed. Annual HOA meeting Dec. 6

The annual meeting of the Copper Creek Crossing (CCC) Homeowners Association (HOA) will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year’s meeting will be held virtually on Zoom: Zoom meeting ID: 943 7835 4493 Passcode: CCC73012 URL: https://tinyurl.com/y67xb8ua Residents will receive a meeting agenda and related documents in the mail several weeks prior to the meeting. Anyone who is unable to attend but would like to pose questions should forward them to [email protected] no later than Dec. 4. The meeting video will be posted on the HOA website for residents that are unable to attend on Zoom.

CCC has new designation on Nextdoor

Copper Creek Crossing HOA members on Nextdoor should notice a slight change there. In order to eliminate confusion about "which Copper Creek is which" and facilitate communications among members of the homeowners association, the board worked with Nextdoor to make Copper Creek Crossing - that is, the dues-paying part of Copper Creek - into its own community on Nextdoor. HOA who use Nextdoor don’t have to do anything; they should be automatically moved from “Copper Creek” to “Copper Creek Crossing" on ND. Everyone will still have the same ability to communicate with other neighborhoods they have always had. But this change will also allow CCC members to post items exclusively for other members of the HOA. Kudos to board president Matt Stuart for coordinating this improvement with the folks at…

LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS!

Several Copper Creek Crossing residents have had items in their unlocked cars stolen over the last month. If you keep your car in the driveway or in the street, be sure to lock it…especially at night. Please share this warning with any of your neighbors who may not see it here.

Congrats to the free dues winners!

Congratulations to Janie Go for being selected in the drawing for free 2021 homeowner association dues in Copper Creek Crossing! More than 20 residents sent in their contact information to enter the contest, and two winners were drawn from those names early this week. One of the winners was Janie Go; the other winner requested their name not be published. Thanks to everyone who participated!
