CCC has new designation on Nextdoor

Copper Creek Crossing HOA members on Nextdoor should notice a slight change there. In order to eliminate confusion about "which Copper Creek is which" and facilitate communications among members of the homeowners association, the board worked with Nextdoor to make Copper Creek Crossing - that is, the dues-paying part of Copper Creek - into its own community on Nextdoor. HOA who use Nextdoor don’t have to do anything; they should be automatically moved from “Copper Creek” to “Copper Creek Crossing" on ND. Everyone will still have the same ability to communicate with other neighborhoods they have always had. But this change will also allow CCC members to post items exclusively for other members of the HOA. Kudos to board president Matt Stuart for coordinating this improvement with the folks at…

Obviously, even conscientious residents sometimes encounter situations where they have to unexpectedly leave town or are otherwise unable to meet the covenant requirements - i.e., business trips, illnesses, recent surgery, family emergencies, etc. Moreover, some elderly residents may have difficulty with trash cans on an ongoing basis.  That said, if a resident has no neighbor to call on in such a situation, they can contact the HOA board at [email protected] to advise us of the situation. Board members can either take care of the cans for the resident that week…

Violations letters, garbage cans and related matters

A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD: There appear to be some misconceptions about recent efforts by the Copper Creek Crossing Homeowners Association (HOA) board to improve compliance with the homeowners covenants that all of us signed when we moved into Copper Creek Crossing. (For those of you who rent, your landlords signed them.) Before going further, we should note that these misconceptions only apply to the sections of Copper Creek that have mandatory HOA dues – that section is “Copper Creek Crossing” (CCC). The other part of Copper Creek – “Copper Creek Neighborhood” – has a separate neighborhood association. Please refer to the map link at the bottom of this post to determine if you are in Copper Creek Crossing, which includes the sections of the linked map that are in color.  That said, allow…
